THIS IS WHO WE ARE

Photos and videos about us

We had a wonderful day at the II. János Pál Catholic Elementary School in Ózd with a visiting group from Italy. There was worship and praise dance with the little ones, a Christian pantomime performed with the teens, and, of course, Romani dance as well. We thank the principal for the opportunity and the invitation

At the beginning of Holy Week, we walked together the Stations of Christ's Passion. The reflections on the Stations of the Cross were led by Father Ferenc Mischinger, who shared thoughts specifically aimed at young people. We are grateful for the opportunity to prepare for the greatest Christian celebration in this way.

We had an amazing day in Kelemér, with worship, communal prayer, and an encouraging message. This was followed by performances, skill games, and treasure hunt team activities. Thank God, we also enjoyed a large pot of goulash together with our brothers and sisters from Kelemér.

At our Tuesday workshop, the children learned how to make cocoa rolls this time. Kati explained and demonstrated the techniques, and the kids eagerly helped out.

As part of our sports workshop, we held a Sports Day for the first time this year. It was a great success, with activities suited to everyone's age and interests.

We believe it is important to teach not only spiritual lessons and values but also practical knowledge that can help shape the future and lives of young people. That's why, in our cooking workshops, they get to learn how to prepare traditional homemade Romani dishes as well as the steps involved in making various other meals.

We celebrate the holidays in a way that suits the age group. Of course, dressing up and costumes are always part of the fun — which the young people interpret in their own unique way. Contests, costumes, party, special guest... the whole day was filled with great vibes.
